After almost three years, the members of the RK „AKVALANGIST“ in the composition of Gaga, Aleks and Sasa on 06.29.2025. dived in the well-known location of Lake Rovni near Valjevo, on the site of the submerged monastery of St. Michael the Archangel, better known as „Valjevska Gračanica“. The access to the water is steep and we took a lot of effort to transport the diving equipment. Despite the great heat at this time of summer, the water temperature at a depth of 18 meters was +10 C. The church building is still in good condition, the water has not yet damaged the structure. The interior of the church is filled with fine sediment that is easily clouded. Visibility is poor up to 2 m and diving is almost impossible without flashlights. Despite everything, we are happy to have visited this interesting facility and hope to return soon.
